WAXING METHODSBedford Beauty Rituals knows all there is about its waxes and waxing, only the best will do, the best waxes, and the best techniques. The quality of the wax used for Brazilian waxing is very important and at Beauty Rituals we only use the best gentle creamy hot/ hard wax that contain titanium dioxide and is hypoallergenic. What is Waxing?Waxing — is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet. There are many types of waxing suitable for removing unwanted hair. If waxing is done regularly for several years, permanent hair reduction may be achieved.
What Methods are there?Strip waxing — is accomplished by spreading a thinly layer of warm wax over the skin. A paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax and hair up to 1mm along with the hair and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth. Strip wax comes Chocolate and Hazelnut. Most importantly, unlike standard strip wax they are virtually pain free and do not leave a sticky residue – no more jean fluff stuck to your legs! Hot or Hard Wax — is another method of waxing that involves hot wax, a creamy and smooth texture that glides easily on to the skin, it does not stick to the skin, but it shrink wraps itself around the hair without touching the skin, it sets hard and is removed without the need for strips, delivering a sensationally fruity waxing experience. Our Hot Wax selection are infused with aromatherapy oil and natural extracts and is used on all intimate, face and sensitive areas of the body to ensure the most comfortable wax experience possible. Lyco-jeting is ideal for clients who prefer hot wax, on larger areas such as legs or arms. Able to remove stubborn hair as short as 1mm, contains Lavender and Chamomile essential oils. At Beauty Rituals we do many Brazilian Wax treatments a week, and we will ensure that you are totally at ease and comfortable throughout the session, you will never be asked to get on all fours at any time throughout the procedure. Any questions that you may have can be addressed during the treatment as we talk you through the process. After care is very important, we will make recommendations of how to maintain the Brazilian wax, as well as at what stage to return for your next treatment. While some people do try to wax at home, this can result in pain and severe injury especially to sensitive areas, so it’s advisable that a specialist do your waxing. Each client will have different expectations of what is involved in a pubic waxing. Some clients only wish to have the removal of any hair around the groin area we call this a Bikini Line Wax, some clients need a bit more done so we go further up the pubic bone leaving a strip or triangle, then taking all hair out on the inside of the leg to the side of the labia but do not take it off the labia, and the hair just on the upper leg onto the buttock, we call this a G String Wax. Others may wish to go all the way taking all the hair off the labia to the tail bone, some clients like a strip, triangle, square or have a particular shape left on the front, this is a Brazilian Wax and some may wish to have all pubic hair removed a Hollywood Wax, it’s totally up to the client.
